  • Marg Goldman

    Mark Goldman

    Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer

    Mark has a passion for building transformational media and technology companies which have a positive impact on the world. As founding COO of Current TV, alongside Al Gore and Joel Hyatt, Mark developed the first open-source news network that leveraged user-generated content. Previously Mark served as the President & COO of News Corp’s first digital satellite TV platform, Sky Latin America, with operations in seven countries and over 1,000 employees. Mark was also the co-founder & CEO of ZypMedia, a local programmatic advertising platform.

  • David Neuman

    David Neuman

    Co-Founder, Chief Content Officer

    David has three passions in media: telling stories, nurturing talent, and innovating. His career spans television, film, and digital media, where among other roles, he was Chief Programming Officer for a major news network (CNN), President of a major TV studio (Walt Disney and Touchstone Television), a TV and film producer (20th Century Fox), and founding exec/head of content at three landmark startups: Channel One, Digital Entertainment Network, and Current TV. Along the way, he was instrumental in launching the careers of Anderson Cooper, Lisa Ling, and Jason Silva, among many others.

    Drew Shepard

    Co-Founder, Chief Product Officer

    Drew’s interests lie at the intersection of creativity and technology. As the Founder & CEO of Revree, a mobile augmented reality studio, Drew built transformative digital products for forward-looking companies like Loreal, Movember, and Kahala Brands. Prior to Revree, Drew was on the founding team of venture-backed startup Reserve (acquired in 2018) and has over 15 years of experience in product, engineering, and technology honed at various startups as well as large organizations such as General Dynamics and NASA.

    Frank Lentz

    Head of Production & Chief Video Imagineer

    Simply put, Frank dreams things up, designs, prototypes and launches them. He creates new media inventions to connect people through experiences. Drawing upon three decades in film, TV, news, architectural media, set design, motion graphics, and even movie titles, he’s pushing Happs rapidly ahead, building his “super-bitchin’” things that move. Fact: He once told his video rental clerk Quinton Tarantino he was “too busy” to help him with his first film.

  • Laura Ling

    Laura Ling

    Creative Executive & Strategic Advisor

    Laura believes the world is much too divided and that technology and media, when used for good, can help bridge these divides. She has reported on critical issues around the world for outlets including Discovery Communications, Current TV, PBS, E!, Z Living, Channel One News and others. Laura has worked as the VP of Current TV’s Vanguard Journalism division and Director of Development for Discovery Digital Network’s digital site, Seeker. Laura is a New York Times bestselling author and has received numerous awards for her work including an Emmy and National Edward R. Murrow Award.

  • Andra Cernavskis

    Andra Cernavskis

    Executive Producer

    Andra has a deep passion for international news and events and has long wanted to help develop innovative ways of covering those stories for the next generation. Andra has worked as both a daily news reporter and a video producer throughout her journalism career. Since graduating from UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism, she has largely worked as a producer for digital first platforms like Group Nine Media (formerly Discovery Digital Networks), where she played an integral role in forming the news team for the brand Seeker.

    Brett Walker

    Lead Mobile Developer

    Brett is focused on creating human-centered products that empower and empathize with users and further the public good. He has over 15 years of experience in tech and design, working with companies such as Sony, Nissan, and Pepsi. He served as Interactive Development Lead at TBWA\Chiat\Day, leading an award-winning team of developers and animators. Brett has built apps for Ubiquiti Networks and several startups, and also started app development studio Poet & Mountain to bring life to his ideas.

  • Adam Cobb

    Adam Cobb

    Software Engineer

    Adam has a knack for tackling challenges at the intersection of hardware and software, and has a lifelong passion for inventing positive creative solutions to help right wrong. Prior to developing the first Beta release of the Happs platform, Adam worked as a Software Developer at Revree, where he worked on a platform designed to intuitively bring mobile augmented reality into the hands of developers and marketers. Adam is a graduate of the UCLA Samueli School of Engineering with several distinguished academic honors.
